Tuition Fees 2025-2026
Payment Policies
New Funding Effective April 1, 2025
Effective April 1, 2025, the current Child Care Subsidy program will be eliminated. It is being replaced with a flat and predictable monthly parent fee of $326.25 per month for full time licensed care for all families. A flat monthly parent fee for part time child care is $230.00 per month. Full time is considered to be 100+ hours and part time is 50 - 100 hours. Children attending less than 50 hours will pay full monthly fees set by the daycare. This change to fees is mandated province wide. All daycares are to follow the new mandate.

PRE-SCHOOL - $100.00 PER MONTH FUNDING RATE FOR CHILDREN ATTENDING LESS THAN 4 HOURS PER DAY.

A non-refundable $300.00 registration fee per student, post dated for February 15, 2025 is due along with the completed registration form.
If the registration form and deposit are not received on or before the due date a seat cannot be reserved for your child in the new school year.

Families and students can secure a placement for the new school year by submitting the Tuition Agreement and a $300.00 registration fee by February 15, 2025. Students who submit forms and cheques after this date will be placed on a waiting list.

First Steps and Beyond incurs operating expenses on a continuous basis throughout the year. When a student is registered, a place is reserved for the full school year. Upon a withdrawal, 50% of the tuition will be refunded. Students are registered upon receipt of Tuition Agreement and deposit.

Three Payment Options Are Available
​
Option 1 - Full payment received by April 1, 2025
Option 2 - Full payment dated for September 1, 2025 submitted into office by April 1, 2025.
Option 3 - Three installment payments on September 1, December 1 and March 1.

Option 1 - To be received in full at the school office by April 1, 2025 by cheque, cash or etransfer.

Option 2 - To be received in full at the school office by April 1, 2025 by post dated cheque. A $50.00 NSF fee will be charged for Non-Sufficient Funds transactions.
Option 3 - Tuition to be paid in 3 installments by post dated cheques September 1, December 1 and March 1 received at the school office by April 1, 2025. A $125.00 per student installment fee will be applied to the tuition invoice. A $50.00 NSF fee will be charged for Non-Sufficient Funds transactions.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS. ETRANSFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Outstanding Tuition Accounts
If the student fees remain unpaid at the beginning of the school year, as outlined in the above payment options, the student will not be allowed to return or begin classes until the account has been brought up to date. In the event that an account remains unpaid at the end of the current school year, the student will not be permitted to return to First Steps & Beyond for the following school year until the account is fully paid plus interest based on 5% per annum interest rate.

Sibling Discount
5% tuition fee discount for those families with two children enrolled.
10% for three children enrolled.
15% with four or more children enrolled.
